School Uniforms

What to Wear. How to Order.

Friendship Aspire STEM Academy Maryland is a uniformed school. Tops consist of a school polo available for purchase via the link on this page. Here are a few details about the other items to complete our uniform look.

• The bottom part of the uniform should be beige or blue khakis or a skirt. Parents may purchase these items on their own
• Boys need to wear a black belt
• Shoes should be all black or all white
• Children are required to be in uniform everyday

For those who missed the initial round of uniform sales, rest assured: the required polo shirts will be available for purchase before the start of the school year. You may purchase uniforms at: the upcoming Jumpstart sessions on Saturday, August 10 & Saturday, August 17; and/or directly from the school before the school year begins. If you’re unable to purchase the polos at the Jumpstart August sessions, simply email Principal Simmons to arrange purchase at the school: Jason.Simmons@pgcps.org

Parent Yellow School Bus is committed to safe and pleasant journeys for your precious cargo. And they are committed to answering your questions, like:

• How do you sign up?
• Do they service your area?
• What is the cost?
• How can you arrange pickup & drop-off times?
• What types of vehicles do they operate?
• Will they pickup your child from your home or a nearby hub spot?
• Where are the pickup & drop-off locations?
• How can you arrange one-way or round-trip journeys?

Before-And-After School Care

Friendship Aspire specializes in before and after-school programs. However, before deciding their availability, we have conducted surveys to gauge parent interest. This survey will help us determine the demand for before-and-after school programs and ensure we can accommodate all parents who require it.

Here is information on what we are currently considering:

1) We are in the planning phase of our Extended Learning Programs (what we call our Before and After Care). Our plan IS TO provide both before and after care that extends the school day. However, it will not begin on the first day of school, as it requires additional staffing and programming that has to be approved by the District.

2) All Extending Learning will take place on site AT the school
